Things to do in Bariloche with children

Parque Nahuelito and Escape Room: two ideas for enjoying Bariloche as a family, with tips for planning your visit.

In this guide

Two ideas to enjoy with children: first, dinosaurs at Parque Nahuelito; then, puzzles at Escape Room. Choose according to their interests and the weather; there is no need to do both on the same day.

1. Parque Nahuelito: dinosaurs in the forest

At Parque Nahuelito the visit is a guided walk of approximately 400 metres, featuring life-size and scale dinosaur sculptures. The park is on Provincial Route 77, kilometre 24.5, on Circuito Chico.

This is an outdoor activity: plan around the forecast and wear suitable walking shoes. Before setting off, confirm opening times, tickets and access conditions with the park.

2. Escape Room: solve challenges together

Escape Room Bariloche offers themed rooms and up to 60 minutes of play. It is an indoor option for solving puzzles and working as a team.

The venue states that there is no minimum age when at least one adult takes part; children-only groups must be over 10 years old. Before booking, ask which room suits the group’s ages and whether it has suspense options.

Allow time for check-in and instructions as well as the game. Confirm the price, time slot and group size with the venue.

Plan your family outing

  • Choose one main activity and allow time for breaks and transport.
  • For Parque Nahuelito, check the weather and outdoor visiting conditions.
  • For Escape Room, confirm the room and participation conditions for the group’s ages.

If the weather changes, see things to do when it rains. If you are not renting a vehicle, our guide to Bariloche without a car helps you plan your transport.
